I am donor to Blue Tennessee. It's part of the Every State Blue and launched this year. It's inspiring to see all of the regular folk step up and run in uncontested areas. https://bluetennessee.org/

This was great! I really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for interviewing Gloria. I have wanted to know about her since the expulsion of the two members and the vote not to do so to her. I really appreciate y’all being real and talking about the things that matter and most importantly, being direct! Can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Gloria is a gift to the State of Tennessee, Knox County, and Knoxville. What an asset she will be in the United States Senate! Glo Jo for Tennessee and the United States!

I was somewhat confused: is she running right now? Or is that her plan for the future. If now, I'll definitely donate to her campaign.

I so appreciate your strength and fortitude, Jess. You are inspiring to me, and I hope you do not mind that I bring to your audience my new substack page, partly inspired by your story of how far too many women live a fear which you and others have characterized as the 'Bear or the Man."

Here is my invitation ....

Starting Saturday June 15

Creating A Peaceful Life Begins With A Peaceful Heart/Mind

One man's journey to finding peace in a turbulent world

I will journal early morning from my path of meditation, zen teachings and my lived experience of nearly 70 years. I invite you to join me on a journey, meant to be shared from our lives of interdependence.

I will focus on A Month of Interdependence, beginning July 1, with a delve into the beautiful one page summation of The Heart Sutra, the core of zen teachings.

Thanks for your consideration.

Everyone is Welcome.

I wish we could substitute this philosophy for some of our more destructive religious practices.

I am so appreciative of you two strong women, speaking up as much as you can for democracy. Are there any citizens' organizations which can protest these tactics, and work for the issues they want? I live in a small town in California and we have a small (maybe 100 people) organization called Progressive Dems (yes, even though the Dems always win, we are organized and keep speaking up). Is it possible to get just a few in a few of your small towns to pull together, get together and talk about issues, admit that there are problems. I also participate in a twice monthly conversation over coffee with Heather Cox Richardson fans. Start small, stand tall! I know you do ... I hope you can get together and be a loud voice.

I am so inspired to know that rep Gloria is so sane and smart and yet has road blocks that she does not let stop her! There are so many of us out here…millions! Supporting and cheering you two on that you can’t see. I live in Chicago. I can’t imagine living amongst these anti-Democratic MAGA types. There are MORE OF US. That is a fact. We will get these bizarre incompetents out. There will be no more standing by if they attempt the big cheat again. (Remember, that’s the ONLY way they win. They always lose the popular voice…the voices of THE PEOPLE.

She was my state rep until they literally drew a district around her house to exclude her! My rep now is a whackadoo!

Honestly, how many Americans feel it’s a good idea to use our tax dollars to fund any part of a private, religious or charter education? I feel it is definitely a super minority of voters. The private for-profit school corporations can’t get enough votes from the people to pass legislation to fund their schemes, so now they are in cahoots with our public servants in trying to pass these bills that work around our civic voices and choices. People we have got to get rid of the red obstacles standing in our way, they work against us and for corporate profits ALWAYS!!! Vote Democratic💙

Watching this wonderful interview - a truthful and revealing discussion about education funding and the Hillsdale privately owned charter schools. They have hit Florida already and the statewide curriculum has been altered to a different version of "truth". Applause to you and Marsha for your efforts to battle on for truth and against the dark truth propigators!! This blog and this interview is shining a light. I will spread this as I can.

I'll have to do some investigating in Branson. There are several male entertainers that make their living dressing up as women! I wonder if they have had to stop, since that law was passed. That is just so messed up.

Great interview! Thanks, Jess!
