Now, I don’t know about y’all, but being drunk, or drinking alcohol at work, has always frowned upon for most of us. I guess some lawmakers in Jeff City are above those rules.

I don’t have a problem with anyone having a drink after work…do your thing. But, with the BS that has been coming out of the Missouri legislature for years, I can’t help but wonder if the Busch Lights have anything to do with it?

It actually makes me feel better to think of their work product coming from alcohol-induced delusions. Rather than the reality that even cold sober they spend their time dreaming up ways to harm the constituents who don’t look like or think differently from them.
FDR favoured a drink or three at cocktail hour daily, more when Churchill was visiting. But he wasn’t holier than thou. It’s the hypocrisy and mean spiritedness that are rank.
